CBS Pilot Hawaii Five-O Plucks SyFy Stars

Grace Park is moving on up.

The Battlestar Galactica star will be stripping off her space suit in favor of a (naturally) skimpy bikini to play a champion surfer on the new Alex O’Loughlin starring pilot Hawaii Five-0.

The original, featuring the infamous Bo Derek, is being strategically re-made by by CBS. Lost is ending, after all — and our prime-time happy nation has come to depend on a once-a-week skin fest on an island somewhere. The new Five-0 will premiere just in time to ease any separation anxiety we might experience from loosing Jack, Kate, and the nearly inhuman sexiness of Josh Holloway’s Sawyer.

It seems as though starting in the SyFy world is a good way to get plopped into a major network pilot… Katee Sackhoff (another Galactica chick) will also join the Five-0 cast.

Take note actors — and send some headshot/fruit baskets over to Kevin Kuffa at the casting office at Chelsea Piers. Remember, however — the two biggest requirements: washboard abs and a whole ‘lotta Method.
