CBS Can’t Find Lead for Tad Quill Pilot – 3rd Network Cancelation

Network Chest of DeathWow, another pilot has been thrown into the Network Chest of Death due to a casting difficulty.

CBS has decided to shelve Tad Quill, a new comedy pilot about a widowed dad with a 12-year-old son who’s just now re-discoveringing the dating world.  Liz Marx was the original casting director on the project.

This joins the other two pilots that have gone under because of casting, ABC’S Women are Crazy, Men are Stupid and the original Helen Mirren-starrer, Prime Suspect, silenced by NBC only a week ago.

Maybe the CW should take notes.
