Just hours ago, a gigantic poker tournament in Berlin experienced the wrath of more than six armed men who — literally — looked like freaks from a carnival and/or those kids who are just too old to be trick-or-treating, but show up at your house anyway.
Over 1,000 registered players at the Berlin Poker Tournament at the Potsdamer Platz / Berlin Grand Hyatt Hotel were forced to run for their stiletto-clad lives as the robbers barged in with machetes — attacking people in broad daylight — before escaping with 240,000 EURO… that’s $328,000 American.
Sucks for Germany.
Further, surveillance footage caught the entire heist as it happened. The scoundrels have been loosely identified as looking a great deal like George Clooney, Orlando Bloom, and Johnny Depp.
