Paradigm Agency Plays with the Big Boys
Whoa, Paradigm finally grew some man parts this week.
With all of the agency switching, turn-coating, and insane bouncings-around between CAA, ICM, and William Morris Endeavor… the “fat kid” on the celebrity playground, Paradigm, finally decided to step into the action.
The bicostal big-star-ish agency has signed on Taraji P. Henson and Bobby Moresco (an actress and screenwriter respectively). Henson was an Oscar nominee for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button last year, so it’s about time she gets some decent agency representation.
Henson will also star with Steve Carell in Date Night, as well as with Julia Roberts in the new film Larry Crowne by Universal.
Higgins was a writer/producer for Crash, and is presently producing a film called Castro’s Daughter for Universal Pictures. He’s hoping to potentially get into directing, now that he has a fat cat agent on his IMDB.
The two new upfronts were formerly with UTA.
